Since I have been procrastinating all day today, I figured I could continue the trend and provide you all with a long over due update! Let’s see…so much has happened over the past few weeks. October was crazy busy! My birthday was great; Frances made me this huge carrot cake which was delicious!
This month we celebrated Mindy's birthday twice. Once at a bon fire over sommores and once at the waffle house...both of which were great fun!

Then there was homecoming where we danced and saw my little brother crowned homecoming king!

I've also been going to Blue Ridge, trying to hang out with Buck before he leaves for boot camp. Then, Mindy and I have been hitting up the GA Tech games and I am slowly but surely learning the cheers…
I’m a ramblin’, gamnlin ’**** of an engineer, hey!

Residence Life job is going well. We did a program for Halloween called Booville where all the kids of the faculty and staff came out and made Carmel apples, did a box maze, and all kinds of other fun activities –it was so cute! The RHAers that I advise are wonderful! We just sponsored a Hoe Down last week that was so much fun! I learned two new line dances and then went and practiced them at Cowboys with Audrey and her cousin Sara the next night-good times!

Let’s see…for my birthday, my parents game me a round trip ticket to Colorado to see Erin! So I went and spent the weekend with her which was great fun! I got to meet a lot of her friends and we played at Whitt’s End one afternoon! It was so much fun!

This past weekend was Samantha and Kendall’s wedding, which was absolutely beautiful and the reception was a blast!

Then yesterday, my dad picked me up and we drove to Tennessee for the day to celebrate my grandfather’s birthday-

and then I drove back last night with my brother to have a Thanksgiving dinner with all of the RA’s here at University Place. It was so fun to just sit down with all of them and eat a delicious thanksgiving dinner! I got a little bored on the drive back and started taking pictures...

AND THEN, Erin and Ashley came over last night to hang out, so we had some good quality girl time!

Everything else is going well; I’m just trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. My job is going well, but I am considering going back to school for my masters and possibly my doctorate…we shall see. But I think if I do go back to school, I may try and go to the Focus on the Family Institute one summer. I’ve also thought about becoming a flight attendant, getting my real estate license, and joining the military, so who knows! I think that about covers everything… I’ll try to be better about updating. Especially for my Slovak people whom I miss dearly! So I hope that was a good enough update. There's lots more but we'll save that for another day...Peace out! |
